NIOH SCIENTIST RECRUITMENT:2012

Applications are invited on or before 5th March 2012 for two posts of Scientist ‘B’ in the Pay Band-3 Rs.15600-39100 + 5400 (Grade Pay) at the National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad/ Regional Occupational Health Centre at Bangalore / Kolkata.

(1) Scientist-B (Experimental Toxicology (OBC)
Essential qualifications:
(i) M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Pathology or Veterinary Pharmacology recognized by VCI.
Desirable qualifications:
(i) Ph.D. in Veterinary Pathology or Veterinary Pharmacology.
(ii) Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in Veterinary Pathology or Veterinary Pharmacology.
(ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
(iv) Experience in Animal experimentation.
(v) Postgraduate diploma in toxicology or related subjects.

(2) Scientist-B (Toxicology (UR)
Essential qualifications:

(i) MBBS degree recognized by MCI. Or 1st Class M.Sc. degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry,
Environmental Science or equivalent from recognized University.
Or 2nd class M.Sc. degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry plus Ph.D. degree or equivalent in relevant subject from a recognized University.
Desirable qualifications:
(i) M.D./ Ph.D. degree in the above mentioned subjects from a recognized University .
(ii) Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in Medical/Health subjects in recognized Institute(s).
(iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
(iv) Good knowledge in related instrumentation and methods.

Age:
Not exceeding 35 years. Relaxable up to 5 years for Government servants (regular) and SC/ST/OBC candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time in this regard.

Application form duly completed in all respects and signed by the applicant should be sent on the above mentioned address and should reach to the Institute on or before 5th March 2012 along with attested copies of the Certificates in support of date of birth, educational qualification, experience etc. and crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) for Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) payable to the Director, NIOH, Ahmedabad.
