Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC): Oriental Bank of Commerce made by Late Rai Bahadur Lala Sohan Lal on 15 February 1943. It is an India-based bank located in Lahore currently in Pakistan. On 15 April 1980 the Oriental Bank of Commerce was nationalized. The Bank was working Rs. 483 Crores at that  time .

The Oriental Bank of  Commerce progressed on many several  fronts crossing the business Mix mark of Rs 2 Lacs Crore on 31 march 2010 with this making it become seventh largest Public Sector Bank in India. This bank provide us many offers features such as internet banking, phone banking NRI banking etc.The Headquarter of Oriental Bank was in New Delhi .The Comprehensive  Village Development Program is Yet another unique scheme which is launched by oriental bank of commerce on 13^th April 1997 at the day of baisakhi this launched of the program was a great success. At present the bank extend the program to many villages and it covers 15villages 10 in Punjab, 4 in Haryana, and 1 in Rajasthan.

Now Oriental Bank Of Commerce (OBC) is inviting applications for P.O. and A.O. post as given details below:

Last Date to Apply Online: 28th July 2012.

Applications for 425 posts are inviting by Oriental Bank of commerce (OBC) on online.

Criteria of Eligibility:

For P.O. – IBPS PO Sep 2011 CWE passed candidates can apply.

Category wise Cut-off marks are :-

• General Category -> TWS - 120 Marks (Min 24 Marks in Each Subject)
• Others (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) -> TWS - 105 Marks (Min 21 Marks in Each Subject)
• Graduation must be completed in any indiscipline(No Minimum Percentage required)

For A.O. – Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal husbandry/ or other concerning branches.

• IBPS SO Mar 2012 CWE passed candidates can apply.
• Should have completed graduation in any Agricultural Discipline (No Minimum Percentage required), (Agricultural Subjects are - Agriculture/Horticulture /Animal
  Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/Dairy Science/Agricultural Engineering/ Fishery
  Science/ Pissiculture / Agriculture Marketing Co-operation.)
• Category wise Cut-off marks are :-
  • General Category -> TWS - 112 Marks
  • Others (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) -> TWS - 104 Marks

Important dates:

Application Fee: Application fee for General/OBC category is Rs. 100/- and for SC/ST it is Rs.20/- only.

Fee to be paid at any branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce by this Payment Challan or through NEFT at any branch of any othe commercial bank.

How To Apply:

First of all get Challan form and submit fee. Apply online by filling all details properly. Do remember to Keep Payment challan Receipt and two Application print outs for future use.
