Who is next President of India: Pranab Mukherjee or Sangma?

Pranab Mukherjee, who is almost sure to win the Presidential election, dressed in his now-trademark bandhgala,  even tilak also been noticed on his forehead and he was joined by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and PK Bansal (his election agent).

Some experts said that only formalities are to go surely Pranab Mukherjeewill be the next President of India.

Pranab Mukherjee was in full confidence and large number of MP shared his enthusiasm who also cast their votes in the ballot box number 1 which is freshly painted, the votings opened at 10 am. “Earlier I used to get two votes – one was my vote and another, my wife’s vote. But here I hope to get many more votes,” said Pranab.

Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav who ended up his voting in favor of P.A. Sangma rival of Pranab Mukherjee, later he realized and he asked for fresh ballot paper. But Sangma camp lodged complaint to the officer V.K. Agnihotri and Mulayam Singh Yadav was not allowed to vote second time.

Many MPs and MLAs who are jailed these days had taken special permission to vote some are named as Jagan Mohan Reddy, Bibi Jagir Kaur and Madhu Koda. A Gujrat BJP legislature cast vote in favor of Pranab. While MP Derek O Brian of Trinamool Congress became the first Anglo-Indian who voted in the Presidential election.
